It is that time again in the calendar where all motorsport enthusiast in Malaysia turns Sepang into their racing mecca as the Super GT will thunder their third round in June 9th. That is about a month from now where all wasabi will break loose in the serebrum of your motoring heads.

Mr. JP Chin, Founder of JP Motorsports and TJ Chin, the Managing Director of JP Motorsports together with Mr. Yochiro Ueno, MD & CEO of Honda Malaysia unveiled the new trophy design, presented by David Tan, the Managing Director of Tumasek Pewters, for the Round 3 making it even a super special race to win for the teams involved.

The event starts off at Bangsar Village 2 where the main drive lanes were filled with most of the supercars you can imagined, making it the most expensive roadside parking ever in the country. This is indeed a teaser of things to come as Mr. JP Chin intend to break last year’s record of having the most amount of supercars in one venue, that is at the Sepang race track. Looks like it is going to happen right now instead on the the race day itself! As the supercars keep coming in, you’ll see the usual suspects of the Malaysian supercar scene. You guys know who you are.

The speeches starts on the concourse area where, apart from unveiling the prestigious trophy, Mr. JP Chin also reveals the highlight of the race weekend with loads of fun and exciting new events to look out for, that will cater for  everyone, not just the race enthusiast, more of this information at www.supergt.com.my so do check the website out. Speaking of the lovelies, Toshimi Takahashi from Japan and Lushan from last year’s Super GT queen pageant winner takes the stage with their cutesy performance and shout- outs leaving most of the guys on the floor weirdly excited. The race queens will promote the event on roadshows to come to the venues near you. So you might want to brush up on your Japanese if you want to say more than just hello.

The event continues with the semi final of the Super GT Queen Search where 25 finalist will strut their stuff on the runaway for the judges to select the super sexy few to compete in the finals that will be held in Sepang on the race day. And boy, they are going to have a hard time selecting them. So to know who had made it, you know where to go. Make sure you have enough power to juice up you cameras as you guys are going fire away massive amount of shots on these finalist.

For the racer wannabes, the Sony Playstation 3 Grand Tourismo 5 Tournament is your tool to be in the limelight. The fastest six lap times will make their way to the finals in Sepang and the winner will represent our country with five other from Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia to crown the title as the “Asia’s Fastest”.
