“He had been improving on his times and position in every round of the MotoGP Championship. He has been very consistent in finishing his races, and had earned valuable experience.

As a new rider, he has had a very short time to learn the tracks, and he has been finishing the races when many others were unable to. His determination to improve is very evident, and I am sure that we are all proud of his achievements so far,” said Razlan.

AirAsia Group CEO Dato’ Sri Dr. Tony Fernandes said, “I am very pleased to see Zulfahmi riding brilliantly in the race. Based on his performance, we could see that he is now well adapted to the bike, and beginning to show some on-track maturity. Although the track is fairly new to him, it did not bother him and he remained focused on finishing the race.
