Shiny weekend in UNiSEL Shah Alam

Published on November 15th, 2010

After our touge session on Saturday, we dropped by UNiSEL Shah Alam to have a look see at their Autoshow carnival ‘My Wheels, My Safety, My Revive 2010′ which was held at their parking lot.

The all-day event started early on Saturday morning with cars lining up for a show-off and classic bikes roaring their 2-stroke carb at the parking lot.

The event is sponsored by Revive Isotonic, I’m sure all of you are familiar with the brand, and hosted by Faculty of Arts & Design UNiSEL Shah Alam.

UNiSEL is one of the 15 groups chosen to host an event under the banner of Revive Isotonic. The event is driven by passions towards the wonderful motoring world with an interest in design and inclinations towards daring to be different.

No entrance fee was imposed as the event was held outdoor. No complaint there, unless you’re one of those people who can’t stand Malaysian weather.

The organising committee is planning to turn this event into an annual program to help the students to gather experience in organising events as well as to ensure continuous interest among the community.

If a little advice is needed, perhaps more cars would make the event more interesting as well as stricker rules and regulations towards participating cars. A side event during the Autoshow will also entice more crowd.

I’m sure as more experience is gathered, the My Wheels, My Safety, My Revive Autoshow event will grow into an interesting calendar entry for more participants.
