With the current F1 Early Bird promotion close to the end, fans are advice to quickly purchase their tickets for the 2013 Formula 1 PETRONAS Malaysia Grand Prix and enjoy the 50 percent discount.
For fans who still do not have a chance to buy their tickets, take the opportunity of the holidays break by visiting the PETRONAS X-Track Road Show at PLUS Speedway Go-Kart Circuit at USJ tomorrow, December 29 because we will open our ticket booth there” says Dato Ahmad Razlan Ahmad Razali, the CEO of Sepang International Circuit.
The promotion ends this Monday December 31. Therefore, fans out there still have a few more days to purchase the tickets. Tickets can be purchased at the circuit and SIC’s ticket booth at KLIA Express Departure Hall at KL Sentral. Tickets also can be purchased via online at www.sepangcircuit.com or by calling ticket hotline at 603-87782222.
Sepang will host Round 2 of an unprecedented 20-leg 2013 Formula 1 World Championship from March 22 to March 24 next year. The new season will open with the Australian Grand Prix on March 17.
“The response to the early bird promotions has been very good; and I am truly glad to note that the local fans are also taking the initiative to purchase their tickets early. I look forward to a good crowd in Sepang for this upcoming March. It iss going to be exciting this year as we will celebrate the 15th years of F1 in Malaysia with various activities will be coming to town,” added Razlan.
“With the discounts, our tickets are now selling as low as RM33. It will be the most affordable tickets as compared to other F1 venues. This is in line with our objective to make the 2013 Formula 1 PETRONAS Malaysian Grand Prix as affordable and access able for all,” added him.
The discounted RM33 ticket would give fans a full three-day access for natural seating at the uncovered Hill stands at K2, which faces the opening three corners, or at C1, which faces Turn 8 and 9 or C3, which gives clear view of Turns 11, 12, 13 and 14.
With the discounts, seats at the F Grandstand, which provides perfect viewing of Turns 6, 7 and 8, are selling at only RM223 while seats at the K1 Grandstand being offered at RM333 only against its normal price of RM663.
Main Grandstand seats at the North Lower Tier, which faces the F1 team pit garages, are also selling at a bargain prices with seats at Crystal being offered at RM608; Turquoise at RM498; Jade at RM443 and Garnet selling at only RM388.
The two types of seats at the South side, which provides perfect viewing of extreme actions at Turns 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and the back straight, are selling at RM388 for the upper tier Topaz seats and RM278 for the lower-tier Citrine seats.
“We are planning to have a massive celebration of F1 in Malaysia in conjunction with the 15th edition of the F1 race this year. It will be the biggest celebration of F1 in Malaysia and it will involve the whole of 1Malaysia.
