Today – Porsche Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) officially opens the doors to their all-new flagship showroom in Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur. The long awaited, state-of-the-art centre has been in the works for the last 2 years, after the closure of Porsche Centre Bukit Bintang as part of the town planning to facilitate Kuala Lumpur’s MRT project for public transport. After their short-term relocation to Sungai Penchala, that showroom has officially been closed and fully transferred to this all-new 3S Centre.
Located just minutes away from the KL’s central business district, the new Porsche Centre Sungai Besi has a total build-up of 34,703 sqft, which Porsche SDAP believes to be a prominent addition to the development of the brand in Malaysia and will be able to cater and deliver customer experience in new and improved ways.
The construction of the showroom set Sime Darby Auto Performance a whopping RM16 million, and the investment promises to reflect Porsche’s worldwide ethos and quintessential style of the brand on a grand scale. The showroom floor sets to showcase as many as 10 signature Porsche line-up at any single time, and at the same time equipped with a 2-car delivery bay as part of the customer experience.
Inside – the centre is complemented with 9 service bays, a spacious After Sales reception are that includes two dialogue bays, Porsche Tequipment accessories and a dedicated “shop-in-shop” for Porsche Driver’s Selection merchandise.
An added feature to the all-new facility is the Carrera Lounge – a concept that provides luxurious comfort and modern convenience to new and existing customers to enjoy during their visit to Porsche Centre Sungai Besi. A first for Porsche Centres in Malaysia.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Arnt Bayer, Chief Executive Officer of Sime Darby Auto Performance said – “We are thrilled to be moving-in to the central automotive hub in Kuala Lumpure with the new flagship facility. With this new 3S centre, it is a big step forward for us to provide better service to our customers. Sungai Besi is also the first Porsche Centre in Malaysia that complies to the new Porsche corporate architecture. We look forward to providing customers a complete ownership experience.”
