Malaysia is certainly on a roll at the moment – receiving countless exciting cars from the start of the year, be it from mainstream manufacturers all the way to super sports car makers. Regardless of what you can afford, you’d be spoilt for choice if you’re in the market for something new now!

So if you’re one of the many successful millionaires out there, looking for a thrilling experience on wheels – then you’d be happy to know that JH Italia; the official distributor of Lamborghini in Malaysia has officially brought over the latest baby bull, or much better know as the Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4.

First unveiled earlier this year at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March, the Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4 is set to be the brand’s new era of luxury super sports car segment, replacing the absolutely successful Gallardo and redefine the benchmark of cars in this market segment.

Many may not have realised it – but this is actually not the first time that the Huracán has appeared in Malaysia. Earlier in January this year, it was brought over for a little private viewing between existing Lamborghini owners and selected guests, but held under tight security. We were lucky enough to catch a glimpse but we weren’t allowed to share the scoop with you readers.

And again in Sepang during the Super Trofeo race – but not officially brought down other than to showcase Lamborghini’s latest art work to the guests. But we are glad to say that, the Huracán is now officially here in Malaysia and for the curious minds… prices will start from RM1.2 million before tax to the limits you set with the endless optional extras that is available.

The Head of Operations, South East Asia for Automobili Lamborghini were on hand to publicly introduce the brand’s latest masterpiece. He said – ” We are very proud to officially launch the new Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4 here in Malaysia. Automobili Lamborghini continues to set new benchmarks in the luxury super sports car industry with its pure and cutting edge technology, and we expect the Huracán to be well received in this country.”

For the enthusiasts – we are glad to shed the light of what the Huracán is capable of. Powered by a brand new 5.2-litre V10 engine; San’t Agata’s new baby bull will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and 0-200 km/h in a gut-wrenching 9.9 seconds, thanks to 610bhp and 560nm of torque thrown to all 4 wheels via a new 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox a.k.a “Lamborghini Doppia Frizione” or LDF as what the boffins call it.

The Huracán is a completely new car from brand; sharing no components at all from its predecessor, the Gallardo, according to Lamborghini. It features an all-new hybrid chassis – an integrated structure of carbon and aluminium elements that was brought together by a systematic lightweight design and Lamborghini’s extensive expertise in carbon fibre to bring to life a masterpiece shown within the Huracán.

The lightweight construction means that baby bull only weighs 1,422 kg (dry weight) which results to an excellent power-to-weight ratio of just 2.33 kilograms per horse power.

With the success of it’s predecessor, the Lamborghini Gallardo which was the brand’s most successful model ever with 14,022 units produce over 10 years – the Huracán sets to take over that throne with a more beautiful design, sophistication and relentless performance.

Just like the Gallardo, the name Huracán was derived from the world of bullfighting, a breed of the Spanish Conte de la Patilla that was known for its outstanding courage and strong sense of attack, this new Baby Bull will be the latest super sports car in the market to go head-to-head with the best name in the industry.
