NISSAN Fairlady Z Scoops Car of the Year Japan’s Most Fun Award

Published on October 26th, 2009

Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. recently proudly announced that its much-loved normally-aspirated sports car, the Nissan Fairlady Z (which is also known as the Nissan 370Z in Malaysia), has triumphed by winning the Most Fun Award, one of the most coveted categories of Car of the Year Japan 2009-2010.

The Car of the Year Japan winners were announced at the Car of the Year Japan Special Exhibition commemorating its 30th Anniversary located at the 41st Tokyo Motor Show. Voting and final counting of votes were conducted on October 21 with the awards presented on the October 22nd, 2009.

Coincidentally, the long admired NISSAN Fairlady Z line celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. The car, which was first introduced way back during the ‘make love not war’ era in 1969, has won over motoring and performance car fans worldwide for its fun-to-drive characteristics and evolving style through the years.

This is the second time the Fairlady Z series has bagged the Car of the Year Japan’s Most Fun Award since 2002-2003.

After winning such an award in its homeland, Trafficmagonline will be eagerly awaiting its turn to test drive and experience the fun-to-drive characteristics of the Nissan Fairlady 370Z from Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM), the official and authorized distributor of Nissan vehicles in Malaysia.

Even before being tagged with an award for being the most fun car, ETCM realized the following and interest the Nissan Fairlady 370Z had in Malaysia, which explains why ETCM launched this normally-aspirated 3.7-Litre V6 sports car together with the new Nissan Murano in Malaysia only a couple of months ago.

The Award winning Nissan Fairlady 370Z is available for viewing and possible purchase (to those of you who buy this fun sports car, we are green with envy!) at selected ETCM showrooms across Malaysia. For more information, log on to IAmNissanCrazy.
