Naza Group of Companies is Official Car Sponsor for Miss Tourism International 2009 World Final

The Naza Group of Companies recently proudly announced its role as the Official Car Sponsor for the Miss Tourism International 2009 World Final Pageant, and it was done in style as the Naza Group of Companies hosted its year end party to coincide with the welcoming of the forty-six beautiful beauty queens from all over the globe at its sprawling Naza World Auto Mall premises in Petaling Jaya. The Miss Tourism International 2009 World Final Pageant will be held in the Klang Valley at a renowned ‘six star’ hotel on the 31st of December 2009.


This year’s Miss Tourism International 2009 World Final Pageant is the thirteenth one to be held, and it promises to excite audiences with forty six international beauties competing for the coveted title of Miss Tourism International 2009.

The Naza Group of Companies involvement this year brings together four enviable and reputable automotive brands; Ferrari, Ducati, Harley-Davidson and Maserati. Last year the Naza Group of Companies showcased its range of Harley Davidsons when it hosted a party to welcome the pageant’s contestants and announce its association with the pageant.

The respective prestigious marquees were displayed for the pageant beauties to partake in an exclusive photography session at the Naza Group of Companies Year End Party 2009.


The party was an exciting and thrilling one which was a good start to usher in the new year of 2010. The forty six beauty queens made sure that the party was a party to remember and a hot one at that, caused not by the hot and humid weather, but by their presence and by them being together with exotic and powerful machines made up of Ferraris, Ducatis, Harley-Davidsons and Maseratis.

Among those who were in attendance were the top brass of the Naza Group of Companies, Harley-Davidson and Ducati owners and riders, as well as Naza customers and lucky members of the media.

The coach which ferried the forty-six international beauties to the Naza World Auto Mall showroom caused a welcome stir and drew curious looks from members of the public as it was escorted from the ‘six star’ hotel by a convoy of thundering Harley Davidson riders, who were led by a group of Malaysia’s finest in law enforcement, outriders from the Royal Malaysian Police Traffic division.


Naza Group of Companies Joint Executive Chairman, Haji SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin said, “This is part of our lifestyle events for Naza customers. Haji SM Faisal added that this year end event was part of the Naza Group of Companies on-going improvement of its services, as the Naza Group of Companies is a leading automotive conglomerate trusted by brand owners worldwide.

Besides celebrating the pageant’s contestants, the event, which was held at the Harley-Davidson and Naza Italia showrooms, was also Naza’s way of thanking members of the media for all the support they have shown over the course of 2009, as their extensive coverage of Naza’s events and activities throughout the year have contributed to the Naza Group of Companies current successes and achievements.

Entertainment for the night, aside from the elegantly stunning and beautiful beauty queens of the pageant, came from top Malaysian comedian ‘Helmi the Gimmick’, who proved that he is famous for his impersonations of movie stars and local personalities and celebrities.


Guests and members of the media were also treated to a sumptuous spread of delicious food and thirst-quenching beverages, while having their pictures taken with the stunningly beautiful beauty queens from the pageant, and these pictures were printed out on-the-spot and given out as mementos to those who were brave and daring enough to pose for pictures.

The pinnacle moment of the year end party was the naming of the Naza’s Miss Popularity Award, a privilege given to the Naza Group of Companies as appreciation for the Naza Group of Companies involvement with the pageant as the ‘Gold Sponsor’ of the Miss Tourism International 2009 World Final Pageant.

Surprisingly, Miss Malaysia Tourism International 2009 won Naza’s Miss Popularity Award, followed by Miss USA Tourism International, and Miss Indonesia Tourism International. Congratulations are in order for Miss Malaysia Tourism International 2009 for emerging as the surprise winner of Naza’s Miss Popularity Award.
