It was a special day for Naufal, a four-year old boy who was nicked “Lightning Mcqueen” by those who are close to him. The animation Cars, which is well-loved by both young and old was brought to life to celebrate the birthday of Muhammad Naufal, who is suffering from a life-threatening medical condition. It was a dream come true for Naufal.
Make A Wish Malaysia brought Naufal’s dream to life with the help of Blue Jackets Fraternitas. More than 20 supercars RVed at RHB HQ at Jalan Tun Razak before making their way to KLIA to pick up Naufal. He and his parents were traveling there via the ERL, another favourite of Naufal.
By the time the Fraternitas left their RV point, it was raining cats and dogs and a whole lotta other animals at the MEX highway towards KLIA. Hazwan and I went in advance and after a small talk with the authorities at KLIA, the traffic police in charge of traffic flow at the departure hall, we managed to get a 15minutes window to get the Lightning McQueen in a form of a Maserati Stradale to pick up Naufal. A big thank you to the police for giving us the permission to access at the VIP entrance.
Half an hour later, the Fraternitas roared their beasts into the departure hall and surprised Naufal with the appearance of Lightning McQueen right in front of him. From KLIA, despite the heavy rain, the Fraternitas took Naufal on a joyride in the Maserati Stradale before making their way to Le Meridien for lunch. The birthday party for Naufal was also held there making the kid’s day a joyous one indeed.
All thanks to the effort of Make-A-Wish Malaysia, Blue Jackets Fraternitas and others whom I might forget to mention, making it an unforgettable day for Muhammad Naufal and his parents.
