KLIMS 2010 sticks to its guns

Published on December 17th, 2009

The Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS) has been on-off more times than Megan Foxy and her boyfriend Brian Austin Green and following last years deferment because of the credit crunch the seventh edition of the show has been penciled in again from 3-12 December 2010.

Recently at a media get-together with the show’s organizers, the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), its President and Chairman of the KLIMS 2010 Organizing Committee, Datuk Aishah Ahmad, reinforced the show’s standing for its latest dates at the Putra World Trade Center (PWTC).

In a quick word, Aishah mentioned that the organizers have secured approximately 30 exhibitors so far and are continuing to approach more exhibitors to reach the 200 exhibitors target.

The show will pleasantly coincide with the MAA’s golden jubilee next year and promises to be an amazing foreshadowing of the auto industry’s future locally and internationally.

Appropriately, the official theme for KLIMS 2010 is CARE, an acronym for Commitment, Advancement, Reliability and Environment.

With just shy of a year to go before it kicks off, we’ll be crossing every appendage possible on our bodies praying it holds together this time around. The show really would be a great stepping stone for the local auto industry to create strides forward.
