JB Autoshow with a sideway twist

8 April 2010 No Comment By Traffic Mag

My ever so lovely editor decided to give me an assignment that involved driving down to a certain part of the country, snap some pictures, and drive back. He thought he was actually giving me a break, but he didn’t know that my car’s roadtax expired some time back. Begging your mom to borrow her car can be really tough at times, eh?

Anyways, I decided to leave early that Sunday morning so that I can have some free time in Johor Bharu after the shooting. My assignment? This.

I was greeted by a friend of ours (Lil’ white Micro Machine – Daihatsu Charade), but it was raining so he came with his stock standark Myvi instead. He took me to the hall where the autoshow was held, and we were greeted by a line of modified Proton Gen.2s, looking slammed and wide. It was getting to be quite exciting.

We started off at the V.I.P area where another one of our friend, Kenny, was displaying his recently repainted Cefiro Brougham (Ceffi-liciously VIP-ed).

We moved on to the other V.I.P modders.

Well, more pictures below.

Special thanks to Yong and Fiona for showing me around. Something was definitely missing with the absence of Lan’s Spanking Wide Datsun Triple S. We heard that the car’s much, much louder now, with the installation of a new exhaust system.
