Honda Malaysia launched its 59th Showroom with 3S Centre in Sungai Buloh, Selangor

Honda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. officially unveiled AutoWorld Asia Sdn. Bhd. (AutoWorld Asia), as its 59th showroom with 3S Centre (10th in Selangor) in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. The occasion was officiated by Dato’ B Bhaskaran Pillai, Managing Director of AutoWorld Asia and Mr. Yoichiro Ueno, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Honda Malaysia. The initiative of dealership network expansion is part of the Company’s commitment to uphold its Customer Satisfaction No. 1 policy, as well as to meet the growing market demand in Malaysia.

Since Honda Malaysia started selling cars in 2001, sales in Selangor have grown more than 10 times, from 1,227 units in 2002 to 10,034 units in 2010. Selangor contributed 23% of the total sales volume of 44, 486 units in 2010, a significant number which calls for a timely extension of another dealership in this region.

“With the introduction of more products in the future and as the demand in Selangor is catching up with the other dealers within the network, it is our responsibility to maintain the quality of our sales and after-sales services to the increasing customer base here in the region. We believe that partnership as such with AutoWorld Asia will only help us to upkeep this commitment,” said Mr. Yoichiro Ueno in his speech during the official launch.

We want to assure our customers that we will continue to do our best in delivering more value, to further drive our continuous effort by building life-long relationships with our customers, through our Lifetime Ownership Loyalty program. It is Honda’s aim to retain our customers for life!” he added.

Honda’s existing customer base in Selangor is approximately 60,000, which is the biggest customer base in a single state for Honda Malaysia. The opening of AutoWorld Asia will not only continue to expand the existing base, it will also provide Honda customers in Selangor with more access to efficient and prompt sales, and after-sales services.

The 3S concept is a constituent of Honda Malaysia’s policy of prioritising customer satisfaction while creating an enjoyable customer experience. Honda believes that on purchase of a car, a life-long relationship with the customer is forged and therefore it is utmost important for Honda to build an on-going relationship through high quality after-sales services.

Since its establishment, Honda Malaysia has been equipping and training its dealers to acquire the 3S status so as to provide a total package of service and convenience to customers nationwide. To date there are a total of 59 Honda Dealers, of which 56 of them operate Honda 3S Centres nationwide.
