paul, it’s the same platform of ECOTEC also known as Family 2 engine but of different generation. the Vectra B runs on an older X model engine@136hp while Optra runs on a newer E-TEC II@120hp.

Is the 1.8 Ecotec the same one in the Optra 1.8?
