    Welcome back guys. Its good to see the magazine resurrected after a long while. I have many questions about Traffic’s re-appearance – and I’m sure your readers/fans do too: what’s new/the same about the magazine? (Apart from the fact that it is now in the virtual world and not in print)

    I like to conduct an interview about the story behind the re-birth of the mag. I think its a good start as a re-introduction to the country’s best locally produced mod mag.

    and regarding that volvo of yours, there is a lot of factors to consider such as the logic reason behind the purchase. Do you want to buy it simply it looks rare within your habitat? or simply because you like the design of it and it sole existence? hehe

    If you are buying it new, by all means go. Swedish cars are solid like their German counterparts. Reliable. Handles like a dream and safe too. But if you think that it is fast, hmm it also depends on how heavy your right foot is but bear in mind that there will always be a car faster than you. So if you are not buying this volvo for professional usage on track, always drive safe and drive smart. There is no prize for you when you over take a car next to yours. No fancy shiny golden bling trophy what so ever ;) but…

    If your are buying it second hand, all rules apply when you check for the wear and tear parts. Also do a bit of research on its spare parts and where to source it and also which mechanic you can trust. At least you’ll know how much it’ll cost you. Such existing Volvo forums here and abroad should be suffice to educate you how to take car of your baby ;)

    anyhow, which year are we talking about here? the new one or the old one?

    S40 looks da bomb la… especially when a cun chic drives it haha. There is once i saw a tall leggy model drives a hot red Volvo 850 T5 Wagon and it got me confused to see her or the car. How do i know she’s leggy? because she looks darn right tall in the car. And how do i know she’s a model? Well, she looks really, really hot. And the car was all glowing red with huge wheels on it. And then, there was the T5 badge. So no way it is for old people… the usual Mercs and BMWs are for old people when it is left standard as it is hahaha. Audis are a bit younger but posh. Volvos and Saabs are rare but definitely not old ;)

    The new S40 is indeed a macho car when done up properly. Try to google Heico Sportiv and another one called Evolve. These two tuners are the one that makes Volvos nowadays hot! ;)

    And would i buy it? Of course! I just love the muscular shoulders when you follow ‘em from behind. And the kit is always subtle and functional. Have you google those two tuners yet? heheh Get down on it, now!

    Or if you want something else newer and younger, try the Volvo C30. It shares the same chassis with the VW Golf but not as fast as the Golf. Not only that the car is rarely seen on the road, but if you modify it, please let us shoot your car for our website :) It’ll be one of kind…

    Also do a search in our website. We’ve done a review a long time ago on Volvo S40…Hope this helps.
    Also any car will look the look if you know how make up the car to perfection… you just need some reference and some imagination ;)
