Ceffy-liciously VIP’d
It’s always nice to see them modded rides cruising down that road with enough stance and visual quality that begs for a second glance. One look is enough to know that some of these cars are fully loaded, or done properly. One look is enough to tell you that these cars are taken care very, very well.
Not to mention the moolah spent on the car, of course.
Sure, some people say that they mod their cars to suit their VIP lifestyle, or their need for speed. Please, modding is not just on rims and spectacular paint-job alone. Modding, and if we’re talking about VIP-styling, means it goes all the way up the ladder, with enough bragging rights to tease and please.
This is VIP-styling.

The two 1997 A32 Nissan Cefiro Broughams are almost the same, but mind you, even the owners couldn’t sum up the amount of moolah spent on the cars.
The two A32’s are a generation younger than our own Dinesh Appavu’s drift-spec A31 Cefiro, which are popular with RB20/RB26 transplant for that extra power for going sideways. But these two A32’s are not meant to be driven in such ways and merely cruising down the streets with the owners grinning broadly every when people are admiring their daily driven VIP’d rides.
Let’s start with Kelvin’s A32, shall we?

Kelvin’s A32 is running on its original VQ30DE V6 engine with a little of this and that to make the engine looked pimped. Fabulous exhaust system made its way to the VIP Ceffy.

The car’s sitting comfortably on Fabulous Profound Chrome 20-inches on all four with 245/35 Dunlop and 245/35 Hankook tyres. You can find another 20″ rim in the trunk, covered with glass and bedazzled, and the thang shine, yo! Holding the car up is ACC Air Suspension.

Moving into the interior, animal skin has been stitched to the seats, with Fabulous steering and other Fabulous accessories nicely situated here and there. We’ll just let these pictures spell it out for you, aye?

Custom Fabulous body styling gives the car a VIP character to match, with smoked A32 Brougham rear lights and Taiwan-based A32 grille, wider fenders and custom spoiler.

VIP modders can’t run away from ICE upgrades, and in this case, a Pioneer head unit with 2 x 2.5″ LCD screen, 2 x 3.5″ LCD, 2 x 7″ LCD, 2 x 12.2″ LCD and a 19″ LCD screen, along with Carrozzeria TS-W1000C subwoofer, crossover and amp is pumping up the heat, and we believe, more than enough to keep anybody fully entertained while they’re in any kind of traffic jam.

Moving on to the other VIP-ed A32.

Kenny also have the same problem with Kelvin, of which he doesn’t know how much moolah has been spent on his car too.
Kenny’s car is also running on its original VQ30DE V6 engine, also with auto tranny, and the engine is decorated in purple.

Also running on 20″ rims, Kenny is using Work 3-piece LS105 that come straight from the Land of the Rising Sun, wrapped by 225/35 Nankang (front) and 245/35 Toyo T1R (rear). Kenny is using Pro Hopper Hydraulic Suspension, and when lowered, it’s this low.

Brakes are stock standard, with no added anti-roll or strut bars.
Engine modification is not that much, which is normal for VIP’d cars, but it looks preeeetty. APEXi air filter with twin muffler VIP exhaust system is utilised, and they can blow your girlfriend’s skirt up, giving Marilyn Monroe (god bless her soul) a run for her money.

Stepping on the inside you can see more dead animal’s skin, with Itavolanti steering, footbrake (similar to Kelvin’s), DAD pedals and an assortment of Garson accessories.

For the body styling, Kenny is using A32 Wagon’s limited headlights, with smoked A32 Brougham rear lights. Taiwan-based A32 grille is used, with Fabulous front bumper, custom rear bumper and side skirts, and custom spoiler. His fender arches are left untouched.

Now for the good stuff. Kenwood MP4333 DVD head unit is installed in the car, with 8 pieces LCD monitors to cater for the movie freaks. Pioneer speakers, with Caliber tweeters, 12″ Stellar subwoofer, NIC Crossover and ProKick amplifer made up of the rest of the entertainment equipments.

Be on the lookout for these cars because they’re almost a sure participant for any autoshow in Malaysia.
