Tom’s Mini Cooper S: The Jerry Killer

Let’s just throw sentimentality out the window and accept the fact that changes can be good too. And in this case, a new Mini Cooper S souped up and slapped with crazy (let’s not forget expensive) mods, ready to trash any tarmac on any given track.
Or, just cruise around town and let the sound do the talking.
Dwelling in the deepest abyss of Motoring underground, Tom is the overlord of Zerotohundred.com, being the one responsible for the creation of the motoring website/forum. If you’re reading this and found yourself wondering just …

SuperGT Round 4: SIC with Japanese twist and drama + VIDEO!

What a mind-boggling-slappy-kenunggi-tuik day in Sepang International Circuit. We do believe that some of the drivers are running high on at least two or three different substances, probably spiked by the crew members. Something or a lot of a few and many more things (huh?) must’ve caused their adrenaline to be pumping harder than usual. The race can simply be defined as intense, with a tad more action compared to previous SuperGT races held in SIC.
One of the most outstanding performances must’ve been from Team Tom’s Petronas with Andre Lotterer …

Super GT Round 4: Megumi Hattori & Kozue Nitta

It’s one of the most anticipated time of the year as the Super GT Round 4 is back to grace our shores with its race machines, drivers and the ever-lovable GT queens. A month prior to the event the official GT queens are the first to be in the country to promote the event. It was kinda sad when we get to know that the Super GT roadshows will not be held as it was done years before.
And to know that it’s the tenth anniversary of Super GT, I’d say …

Modders Inc. Car Club Gathering!

We were presented with an opportunity to break our backs and let our throat be as dry as Botak’s inability to be romantic (which was proven quite wrong when he wrote the Toyota MR2 story) when Motorsport Asia engaged Trafficmagonline to organize Modders Incorporated Car Club Gathering in conjunction with AFOS at Sepang International Cicrcuit (SIC) last weekend.
So without further ado, we set out for the journey to break our backs with continuous phone-calls, e-mails, Facebook-wall-posting and smoke-signals to call and get ourselves engaged with car clubs in Malaysia.
When we …

FX Open’s Nissan 350Z

Ever desire a car that’ll slap you silly just by thinking about it, and everytime that dream car passes by you’d grab whatever it is that you are holding a lil’ bit harder that would cause you to get a really tight slap for grabbing your girlfriend’s thigh a bit too tight? What about a car that slaps you around a few times because you know if you are to go to the showroom to grab yourself one of ‘em dream cars, you’d end up eating ‘semekut pat semegi atah …

Prowling Monster Laser

Back in the mid 90′s, Ford was considered as one of the best platform for modification especially the Laser model… regardless whether it was the hatchback or the infamous Ford Laser coupe or Ford ‘Sampan’ as we used to know it back in the days. Damn I’m old.
The most prefered power transplant was Mazda’s B6 with sneezing turbo, the B8 180hp or the B8 210hp for those with a bit more cash in their quest for power. Since then, Ford lost its touch with ‘em modders even when they came …

Mitsubishi legend – Galant VR4 AMG

Mention VR4, and the word ‘power’ will surely come to mind, especially to those Proton owners who had their rides modded to the max and when the transplant is done to Ol’Skool Saga due to its power-to-weight ratio. We all know what kind of performance can this particular Mitsubishi engine delivers and how the system is still used by later models of Lancer and Evolution with little mods.
The stock 2.0L comes in two variants – 2WD and 4WD. The stock turbocharged engine is capable of delivering around 200 – 240 …
