GT Racing in Asia is set to expand with the introduction of the GT4 Asia Cup by the Region’s leading Motorsport promoter Motorsport Asia. The GT4 Asia Cup will be a welcome addition to the Asian Festival Of Speed alongside the already popular GT3 Asia Series.
The new series is part of an agreement between the SRO Motorsports Group and Motorsport Asia that sees the extension of the rapidly expanding GT4 category to Asia, joining the GT4 European Cup and its franchise, the Dutch GT4 Championship. Rain threatened to spoil the night as more than 70 drag racers made their way to the first Sepang Drag Battle for this year. Fortunately it drizzled just enough to cool the ambient temperature down at the Sepang International Circuit boosting the power output for the drag cars that night.
But it was not cool enough for the defending champion, 2009 class A winner, Ahmad Firdaus Azman as he struggles with an overheating Mitsubishi Evo 9 as the car’s cooling fan failed to work that night.

The Jakarta International Drift Competition was concluded last 31st January 2010. The two-day event received a huge number of participants of 41 drifters. The event was held at JIExpo in Kemayoran.
GT Radial as the title sponsor brought down its team to battle it out under the banner of GT Radial - Top 1 Drifting team with Fitra Eri as the driver. Lollipop presents Phat & Furious featured quite a number of modded rides in its first-ever autoshow held at the Mist CLub, Bangsar Avenue. The event was held for five rounds starting from the 8th January 2010 (1st round), 15th January 2010 (2nd round), 22nd January 2010 (3rd round), 29th January 2010 (round 4) and 5th February 2010 where the rides was shortlisted to 20 ultimate Phat and Furious rides.

Catch U competition is a photo taking contest of deviant motorists who violate traffic rules in USM main campus. Students can use their mobile phone or camera to take photo of deviant motorists. After taking the pictures, participants have to write below the picture the date, time, venue of the incident and the traffic offences committed.

All USM students and staffs are encouraged to participate in this competition.

The objective of Rakan Trafik PSA competition is to encourage greater participation among undergraduates on issues relating to road safety as well as to provide them opportunity in presenting their creative ideas, understanding and critical evaluation on the various aspects of road safety issues.
Themes for PSA:
Improper usage of helmet
Turning without signal
Driving without fastening seat belt
Using handphone while driving.
Turning without stopping at junction
All PSA have to be in scope of the themes above.

This was the last expedition organized by Israq Adventure to close the curtains of 2009 with a bang. It was originally planed as the Cambodia Ride but due to a number of unforeseen circumstances, the organizer decided to change it to North Thailand Ride. Earlier this month, on 2nd December 2009 a number of bikers from Jugra Bikers made their way from Banting to meet up at the rendezvous point at Sg Buloh as early as 7 in the morning. After a light breakfast, the convoy of 18 bikes made way to ther first destination,Trang in Thailand.
