Sepang International Circuit was filled with festivities on Saturday night as mod-heads and modded-to-scorch-the-tarmac-on-a-straight rides competed head to head during Drag Battle Round 3. Over a thousand spectators watched the action on the track.
Tire screeching, engine revving, if only there were hot Japanese chicks wearing only bikinis flagging off ‘em cars, but that’s wishful thinking.
Among the draggers involved in the race was ST Wangan-ST Powered, a familiar face on the circuit. The team competed in Category A (4WD Turbo), the same category where Tan Chun Lin had dominated Round 2 …

When the Sepang International Circuit was built, the race shifted to the newly built track with the winner being presented with a brand spanking new Proton road car, but the race was stopped in 1999 due to controversial circumstances …

Alfa Romeo has been on our soil for quite some time now. Our grandfathers and fathers used to drive these or at least amazed of what it can do way before the existence of Proton and ended those glory days of reasonably priced imported cars to our country. Our cops used to have these Italians as their chase and patrol cars and hence the reputation of it being THE CAR to have. It handles well and can take on any of ‘em twisties and zoom away on the highways and …

(“There’s no need to drive fast, as the risks for accidents are higher. Drive quickly instead.” – Oreedo)
True to his words, Oreedo was one of the lead cars that took us Touge-ing last Sunday. A few days before that, I asked Oreedo whether there was a Touge on the weekend, and he said he’ll get back to me a.s.a.p.
He got back to me on Friday saying that the Touge session is confirmed …

The wet and foggy conditions at the Fuji International Speedway last Sunday did little to dampen the spirits of the PETRONAS Syntium Team’s outing at Round 4 of the 2010 Super Taikyu Endurance Series. For the team’s No. 1 BMW Z4M Coupe, it was an outing worth celebrating as the trio of Nobuteru Taniguchi, Masataka Yanagida and rookie Imran Zaharias Shaharom claimed their fourth win of the season.
Despite mechanical problems during qualifying that relegated the No. 28 BMW Z4M Coupe down the starting order to 37th position, Malaysian Fariqe Hairuman made a memorable weekend for the team …

What a mind-boggling-slappy-kenunggi-tuik day in Sepang International Circuit. We do believe that some of the drivers are running high on at least two or three different substances, probably spiked by the crew members. Something or a lot of a few and many more things (huh?) must’ve caused their adrenaline to be pumping harder than usual. The race can simply be defined as intense, with a tad more action compared to previous SuperGT races held in SIC.
One of the most outstanding performances must’ve been from Team Tom’s Petronas with Andre Lotterer …

It was a brilliant pole to flag victory for Australian driver Daniel Bilski, when he claimed his second win of the GT4 Asia Cup 2010 season. The Team Road and Track driver maintained his lead in his first rolling start from pole position and immediately pulled away from the rest of the pack.
Bilski did not look to what was happening behind him and just kept his head down maintaining his speed and by lap 4 had opened up a 10 second gap from the second driver.
