Castrol Magnatec Instant Protection Campaign Rewards Lucky Winners

Castrol, the world’s leading lubricant specialist, concluded their much acclaimed Castrol Magnatec “Instant Protection” Campaign with a prize giving ceremony at Le Meridien hotel recently. The ceremony was the culmination of a successful fun and interactive two month campaign that brought to life the Instant Protection that Castrol Magnatec offers against problems posed by start up engine wear in an online Facebook contest and roadshows across the country.

The campaign, designed to showcase the importance of Instant Protection, drove home the message that the problem of engine wear, which is caused by friction, happens mostly during start up. It further showcased how Castrol Magnatec is always ready to provide an extra layer of protection with Intelligent Molecules that cling like magnets to vital engine parts at all times, when you need it the most – during warm up.

The top contestants fought their way to the top in an interactive online game contest via Facebook called the Castrol Magnatec Augmented Reality Monster game. This unique approach received overwhelming response with the game being played more than 13,400 times in just 8 weeks! The ecstatic grand prize winner Wong Yew Fung, 31, walked away with a 4D/3N trip to Disneyland Hong Kong while the 2nd prize winner bagged a thrilling 3D/2N holiday to Universal Studios at Resorts World, Sentosa Island.
