Brabus lends some klasse to the E-Class W212

Published on January 7th, 2010

If a new Mercedes-Benz rolls off the assembly line chances are Brabus will bestow its golden touch to give an already premium model an added depth of exclusivity and performance to set it apart from the rest of the field.

Clicking into place like clockwork, the launch of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212 preceded Brabus releasing its enhanced versions of the car in different trim levels.

As the sole and exclusive distributor for the Brabus brand here, Naza-Brabus has previewed the Brabus E-Class W212 recently in Kuala Lumpur.

There will be three distinct trims offered although being a bespoke car manufacturer and the World’s Largest Performance Manufacturer, personal customization that stretches for the horizon will be available to customers as long as the cheque has enough zeros to it.

Visually, the Brabus E-Class will sport the usual aerodynamic enhancements as its ultra-exclusive Brabus EV12 brother that only has 10 units in the world. Of course, being the World’s Most Powerful High Performance Sedan with 788bhp and an Earth rotating 1,420Nm of torque as well as a top speed of 370km/h will usually guarantee uber-exclusivity.

The three trim levels of the lower range Brabus E-Class models offered will be the E-Klasse S, E-Klasse R and E-Klasse V6.

The exterior will sport the Brabus front bumper with the complete Light Package 1 in chrome, side skirts with LED’s, rear skirting, a rear lip spoiler and generous Brabus badges plastered all around to remind everybody gawking the name behind it.

All three versions will be sporting the same kicks in the form of 18-inch monoblock 18×8.5 H2 wheels as well as the same waste disposal system in the guise of a brabus sports exhaust system that bumps power up a notch too.

Step into the working area and be amazed with the perfectly synched fusion of matte-finished aluminium pedals, aluminium door lock pins, lightened entrance door panels, media interface, rear electris roller blinds, door blinds, an intelligent light system with adaptive main beam assist, parking guidance, through loading facility and Command APS with DVD changer.

The higher end E-Klasse R comes with keyless-go entry, remote enabled locking boot-lid and panoramic sunroof.

However, the top-of-the-range E-Klasse V6 gets that bit more with Direct Select function, 7G-Tronic 7-speed slushbox and integrated 7-inch LCD displays on for the rear occupants.

Following the introduction, all the models are available for booking and you can lay your eyes on the gleaming E-Klasse V6 at all Brabus showrooms as well. Prices start from RM448,400.
