It has always been the favourite choice of a majority of Malaysians to get a Beemer once they managed to secure a substantial amount of income. Reason being, Beemer cars have the look, power to match and exclusivity in which the latter has become almost non-existence since Beemer became a normal sight on the streets of Malaysia especially in the Klang Valley.
It’s the usual cup of ‘teh tarik’ to see M3 and M5 wannabes roaming down the street, boasting with the window down, M-sport emblem, gills and double-twin exhaust that doesn’t even work. So how would you get the individuality and establish yourself among your peers of Beemer owners? You need to get your ass whooped up and down by Wai Hung first, because of what he has done to his Beemer, you’re in for a real treat.

The notoriety of the ride demands every head to take a second look when it passes by. The car came in stock standard as a BMW 325ci coupe, and Wai Hung has more screws in his brain than most to NOT turn his Beemer into another M3 wannabes. I’d say we have more than enough of these wannabes roaming around the streets. It’s quite refreshing to have a Beemer that’s actually worth the time and effort to feature.

Initially, the bodykit was made using fiber, and after hundreds of cracks every now and then, and thousands of trips to the body styling shop, Wai Hung made up his mind not to waste millions and went to get the bodykit in a harder compound, mentally metal instead.

As for bodyworks, it was a marriage made in heaven when he opted for the Rieger Mtech II bodykit mated with metal-based wide body customization to ensure the durability of the kits. The car’s front end was further enhanced with Rieger Mtech II lips with a bit of metal bits customization to accommodate the extra width. The sideskirts was customized using metal, based on the Rieger Razor design. To complete the looks, touches of carbon fiber have been installed at just the right places to complement the stance of this Carbon Black coupe.

The wide-ass Beemer sit solemnly on a whooping 20″ BBS LM Champion edition wheels that further enhanced the looks of the ride. Bad-ass indeed to say the least! To get the extreme low stance, Wai Hung opted for a set of TEIN Super Street coilovers. With that kind of chassis support, the ride would have a better stance and handling while being on the pothole-laden roads of Malaysia. A lower stance and being a daily-driven ride ensure our respect to the infinite amount of potholes, wavy surface and what nots, ensures more time spent in the garage due to the risk taken every time this modded ride goes out for a stroll. Nevertheless, sitting 3″ from the ground made it reputably one of the lowest 325 in Malaysia.

Being in the exclusive Europrojektz Malaysian chapter, the aesthetic department conquers the members, but certainly not without the power to match. With 192hp being churned out from the stock straight-6 2.5ltr engine, it should be enough for most, but Wai Hung had other plans in mind. He plonked a G-power/Infinitas SK+ Supercharger, boasting 8.5psi boost, to deliver his needs when the time calls for speed.
There were those who commented (with me being busybody and listening to their conversation) that this particular modded ride is a bit overrated with the kind of coverage it has received over the years. This year alone, this particular modded ride has been on the pages of various magazines apart from being featured in the world wide web via various motoring websites. Nevertheless, we can always have a good thing more than twice right?

Nowadays we can see more modded Continental rides on the streets of Malaysia with the growth of reputable Conti tuners around the Klang Valley. Not that much when compared to Japanese makes of modded beauties but the quantity and quality has improved, leading to more worthy modded rides on the street. More and more of them are worth featuring, nowadays. If only we have more time in our hands. But then again, that’s up to us how to segregate our time from events, launches and others right?
As for Wai Hung, he went from high flyers to pedestrian walker for four months when he was waiting for the car to be finished, thanks to SPS Auto for bodywork, Action Auto for the beautiful paint job and ExoticMods for the parts. The result is stunning to say the least, and off he went to being back being one of the high flyers of the Europrojektz club. Every now and then, Wai Hung makes his regular trip to the garage to ensure the spic and span of his beloved machine so that he gets to cruise around town, from work to club-hopping without compromising his style as one of the high flyers in town.
