Red Bull Racing’s Sebastian Vettel will bring the excitement up a notch at the PETRONAS Malaysia Grand Prix as he confirms his appearance alongside all the other F1 drivers for the special autograph session on Race Day, Sunday, 25th of March.
Top of the list of fan favourites, Vettel who will be hoping to make it a hatrick of titles this season, thus cementing his place as the youngest ever three-time winner at the age of 24. There will be also the long awaited appearance of 2007 champion, Kimi Raikkonen, who will be making a comeback in F1 after a year sabbatical competing in the World Rally Championship.
The Finnish driver, nicknamed the ‘Iceman’ for his ice cool demeanour will be joined on the grid by other former champions, Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher. These 6 drivers completes a stellar line-up on what is arguably the most competitive in the history of F1 and will be the main pulling factor in attracting a record crowd of 90,000 fans on Race Day.
Not forgetting, local favourites, Caterham F1 Team, with the Malaysian backed team parading their new acquisition, Vitaly Petrov replacing Italian, Jarno Trulli for the new season. The Russian driver will race alongside Heikki Kovalainen as Caterham aims to continue on its admirable showing in Sepang last year with Kovalainen finishing in a respectable 15th place.
PETRONAS backed Mercedes AMG Formula One Team will parade Schumi and compatriot, Nico Rosberg from Germany while Lotus F1 Team will be in town with Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean.
