2010 Formula 1 season’s fever expected to hit Malaysian viewers!

ESPN STAR Sports is all set to entice huge interest from Malaysian motorsports fans as the 2010 season of Formula One kicks off this coming weekend at the Grand Prix of Bahrain. Supported by PETRONAS, the broadcast of the world’s most prestigioud motorsports race returns with extensive live coverage of all 19 races on STAR Sports.

In addition of live coverage of the 2010 Formula One season, online and mobile platforms throughout the region, Malaysian fans will have the opportunity to watch the races in High-Definition for the first time through the recently launched ESPN HD channel.

With the return of Formula One’s most successful driver, Michael Schumacher with the MERCEDES GP PETRONAS Formula One team as one of the major attraction for Formula One, the rising popularity of the sports looks bright to continue this year. The debut of Lotus Formula One Racing team into the sport with Fairuz Fauzy as its test driver, local interest is set to be higher this year.
